西川日咲 アルバータ州メディシンハットの未割譲の土地で生まれる。幼少期を日本の山梨県で過ごし、英国ロンドンで10年以上を過ごした後、現在はニューヨークを拠点としている。彼女の活動は、視覚芸術、ソマティック・ペダゴジー(身体に根ざした教育学)、環境保全など、多岐にわたる。モントリオールのコンコルディア大学で美術学士号を、ロンドンのゴールドスミス・カレッジでパフォーマンス学の修士号を取得している。2000年代初頭から半ばにかけて、日本の山梨県で、ダンサーであり農家でもある田中泯氏のもとで修行を積んだ。

堀江 武史 1967年東京都生まれ。國學院大學文学部史学科卒業。文化財修復・複製、縄文遺物と現代美術の展示などを手掛ける府中工房主宰。主な共著、編著に『ひとが優しい博物館―ユニバーサル・ミュージアムの新展開』(共著、青弓社、2016)、『総覧 縄文土器』(共著、アム・プロモーション、2008)、『縄文遺物と現代美術 考古学から生まれるアート』(編著、府中工房、2018)他。

Calling all people interested in ceramics, pottery, Jomon culture, and food culture; those interested in regional research; and local residents of all ages. We are inviting you to our open campus on Oct. 17 for an introduction and process sharing of researchers in residence.

Nissa Nishikawa was born on the unceded land of Medicine Hat, Alberta. Her formative years emerged in Yamanashi, Japan, and after over a decade in London, UK, she is now based in New York. Her work encompasses many disciplines, including visual arts, somatic pedagogy, and environmental stewardship. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University, Montréal, and a Performance MA from Goldsmiths, London. Throughout the early to mid-2000s, she trained with the dancer and farmer Min Tanaka in Yamanashi, Japan.

Takeshi Horie was born in Tokyo in 1967. Graduated from the Department of History, Faculty of Letters, Kokugakuin University. Director of Fuchu Kobo, which specializes in the restoration and reproduction of cultural properties, as well as exhibitions featuring Jomon artifacts and contemporary art. Major co-authored and edited works include *A Museum That Is Kind to People: New Developments in the Universal Museum* (co-authored, Seikyusha, 2016), *Compendium of Jomon Pottery* (co-authored, Am Promotion, 2008), and *Jomon Artifacts and Contemporary Art: Art Born from Archaeology* (edited, Fuchu Kobo, 2018), among others.
